Yongin FC, the newest addition to K-League 2 for the 2026 season, has officially announced the signing of veteran midfielder Shin Jin-ho. This move signals the club’s ambition to establish a strong foundation in their professional debut.

Shin Jin-ho is a household name in Korean football, boasting a 15-year career characterized by consistency and class. With 324 appearances, 23 goals, and 60 assists in the K-League, Shin brings a wealth of experience that is rare to find.

Beginning his career in 2011 with Pohang Steelers, Shin has played for major clubs including FC Seoul, Ulsan HD, and Incheon United. He also has significant international experience in the Middle East, having played for Qatar SC, Al-Sailiya, and Emirates Club.

In the 2025 season, Shin was instrumental in Incheon United’s dramatic promotion. Despite the team’s initial relegation, he stayed to lead the side, recording 4 goals and 4 assists across 32 matches, ultimately lifting the K-League 2 trophy
