INCHEON – Incheon United have signaled a bold start to their return to K League 1 for the 2026 season by completing the signing of 22-year-old midfielder Seo Jae-min.

The club officially announced the acquisition on the 29th, describing Seo as “a central midfielder possessing relentless work rate and concise ball distribution skills.”

⚽️ Seo, who has had stints with FC Seoul and Seoul E-Land, has recorded 4 goals and 3 assists in 64 career K League appearances. His stellar performances over the past two seasons culminated in him winning the prestigious K League 2 Young Player of the Year award in 2024.

With this signing, Incheon United have successfully assembled a youthful and dynamic roster. The squad now boasts three K League 2 Young Player of the Year winners: Lee Dong-ryul (2020), Park Seung-ho (2025), and now Seo Jae-min.

⚽️ “I am excited to join Incheon, a club famous for its passion and romantic football culture,” Seo said in his inaugural statement. “I am determined to prove my worth on the bigger stage of K League 1 and will dedicate myself to helping Incheon soar to new heights.”

Having completed all necessary procedures, including medical tests, Seo is set to join the team’s winter training camp in Malaga, Spain, this January to begin preparations for the upcoming 2026 campaign.
