🚨[Welcome]

⚽️Suwon Samsung Secures Kang Seong-jin on Permanent Transfer; First Signing Under Manager Lee Jung-hyo
K League 2 side Suwon Samsung Bluewings has officially secured the permanent transfer of forward Kang Seong-jin, who previously joined the club on loan. This marks the first roster move following the appointment of new head coach Lee Jung-hyo, signaling the club’s first step toward the 2026 season.

⚽️On the 26th, Suwon announced the news via their official social media channels, stating, “Kang Seong-jin, who joined us on loan for the 2025 season, has now completed a permanent transfer. Please give a warm welcome to Kang as he prepares to soar with the Blue Wings.”

⚽️On the same day, his former club, FC Seoul, also posted a farewell message on social media: “Kang Seong-jin will be leaving FC Seoul. We wish him the very best of luck in his future endeavors.”

⚽️Player Background and Rivalry Context
Born in 2003, Kang Seong-jin is a product of the FC Seoul youth system, having played for Osan Middle School and Osan High School. He made his professional debut with Seoul in 2021 and showed immense potential during the 2022 season, recording 1 goal and 4 assists in 34 league appearances.

⚽️His move to Suwon on loan in July of this year drew significant attention, given the fierce “Super Match” rivalry between Suwon and Seoul—two of the K League’s most storied opponents. Following the conclusion of the season, both sides entered negotiations, resulting in Kang officially switching colors. His combined stats for the 2025 season include 5 appearances in K League 1 and 1 goal in 13 appearances in K League 2
